The Land of the Dead (part #1)

Life is hard when you live with the Nathens. If you don’t know what the Nathens are then I will tell you. They are a big tribe located in the forest of Trible. It is one of the first tribes ever to be formed in the forest of Trible. The Nathens will kick out any week people from the tribe and they will only keep the strong and healthy people. Odds where against me when I was born. I was never born to be a great warrior. But my father (the chief of the tribe) would not let that stop him from trying to make me like the best worrier or something like that. He wanted me to be a great tribe leader when he died. I trained hard every day and got stronger and stronger and stronger. I also learned how to use magic, bows and arrows, spears, and swords. I was really good at magic and with bows and arrows. My dad was happy with how I was doing but he wish that I could be a little better at sword fighting and using the spear. But he was still pretty happy with me. But of course there was someone or something that had to get in the way of me doing really good. And this time it was my mom. She always hated me from the time I was born. She hated me for everything I did. My mom was a tall and muscular woman with light colored skin and light brown hair. She had dark evil eyes that really scared me. My dad had those same eyes and overall looked a lot like my mom. My dad was a lot wider though and had a beard but he still had that long hair. I asked my dad one day why my mom hates me so much and he just said that it was because my mom wanted a girl to lead the tribe and not a boy. But after he said that, I new that there was more than that to why she hated me so much. My dad just did not want to tell me or he did not now.
One day I was out fishing when I saw a shadow of a person sneaking around the trees. I got up and started to follow that person. For a second I thought it was my dad but then I saw my moms little gold hair piece that my mom would always where. I kept following her eagerly to see what she was up to so far away from the tribe. This was the first time that I was ever this far away from home. Legend said that at the end of the forest there was a place called the land of the dead. Legend also said that only demons could pass through the magic walls to the land of the dead and that only humans could pass through the magic walls to come back into the world of the living. My mom kept walking farther and farther into the forest. Then I saw it. The symbol of the dead, which is the door to the land of the dead. My mom took off her hair piece and put it in a small hiding place on a tree. She then took out a crystal from her pocket and held it up in front of her. Black sparks started shooting out from the crystal. Then one of the sparks hit my mom’s hand. She dropped the crystal with pain. Where the spark hit her was now a black mark. It then started to spread around her body turning her skin black. Her feet started to turn into talons and her hands turned into claws. She started to grow big spines on her back and huge red and black wings on her back. Then her head started to turn into a demons head with big red eyes and two big horns on her head. When she was fully evolved she opened her mouth and roared so loud so that birds came flying from the places in the trees. The demon then put her hands in two slots in the symbol which looked like claws. The symbol split in two and started to open and revile the land of the dead. She took off into the air and soared through the sky over the land of the dead. The doors slowly shut and I was able to see the last glimpse of what was my mom before the doors shut.
